Seeking: Home Library Service volunteers
Seeking: Conversation Circle volunteers
Are you –
- Interested in helping others to practise their English speaking and listening skills?
- A kind, patient and supportive person?
- Interested in sharing your knowledge of the English language and Australian culture?
- A keen listener, willing to guide and support others?
- Available to assist on Fridays from 12:15 – 1:45 either weekly or fortnightly.
Conversation Circle
This delightful and impactful program runs event Friday afternoon at Realm Library. Participants from many different cultural backgrounds are put in small groups with a volunteer facilitator to practise their English speaking and listening skills in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We’ll help you to help others
No experience necessary. Initial and ongoing training and support will be provided.
