Yerrin Biik mural: Mooroolbark Library is now a work of art!

As part of the Mooroolbark Street Art Project, 'Yerrin Biik', the library's beautiful new mural was recently launched at Hookey Park/Mooroolbark Library to celebrate the artworks and all involved in its creation.

Mooroolbark Library murals
‌
‌

Co-designed by Aunty Kim Wandin and Christine Joy of Murrup Biik Public Art, and renowned street artist Jimmy Dvate, Yerrin Biik depicts endangered Australian animals and plants, alongside Wurundjeri Ngurungaeta (head man) William Barak. We highly recommend visiting Mooroolbark Library to view the mural! You can also follow the street art walking tour.
