Head to Miller's Homestead this month for some wonderful family entertainment! Grab your hat, some nibbles and a picnic blanket, and enjoy live 40s and 50s swing, on Fri 17 January, plus, music from the movies on Fri 24 January. Book early to avoid disappointment! This significant event marks a new chapter in the governance of Australia's 5th largest library service. Three new Directors have joined the Board: Cr Peter Lockwood (Knox City Council), Cr Meagan Baker (Knox City Council), and Cr Mitch Mazzarella (Yarra Ranges Council). We are also delighted to welcome back returning Directors: Cr Linda Hancock (Maroondah City Council), Mayor Kylie Spears (Maroondah City Council), and Mayor Jim Child (Yarra Ranges Council).

We extend our congratulations to the newly appointed Board Chair, Cr Linda Hancock, and Deputy Chair, Cr Peter Lockwood. Their leadership will be instrumental in guiding Your Library towards continued success and innovation.

Two exciting new roles are available at Your Library!

Regional Manager
Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, the role will be based at our headquarters in Scoresby, and regular travel to your designated libraries will be required. You will work in close collaboration with the other Regional Manager, Executive Leadership, and the entire Leadership team. This role is ideal for a dynamic, service-driven leader who excels in strategic thinking and effective implementation.  

Senior Manager – People & Culture
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, based at our headquarters in Scoresby, the Senior Manager People and Culture will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s workforce and culture. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Our trained volunteers are matched with you to work on your own specific goal. The focus of our program is goals-based. There are no tests, and all sessions are tailored to the needs of the learner.
