Regional Manager
Located at: Your Library Administration Classification: Band 7 A – D - Full time – 38.00 hours per week | 19-day month available
- $113,800 – $127,630
- + 11.5% Superannuation
This is a senior leadership role within Your Library Limited, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee and a cooperative venture of three outer eastern metropolitan councils – Knox, Maroondah, and Yarra Ranges – serving approximately 435,000 residents on the land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.
About the role:
Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, the role will be based at our headquarters in Scoresby, and regular travel to your designated libraries will be required. You will work in close collaboration with the other Regional Manager, Executive Leadership, and the entire Leadership team. Our network consists of 14 libraries, three Reading Rooms and an outreach Flexi service. You will oversee the management of service delivery and staff performance at seven library locations, and manage relationships with adjacent service partners, our member Councils and within our communities. About you:
This role is ideal for a dynamic, service-driven leader who excels in strategic thinking and effective implementation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong inter-personal and communication skills to support and facilitate effective leadership across their region. Highly developed problem-solving and decision-making skills are required to deliver library service excellence across our communities. Experience in leading high-functioning teams is essential and experience in a public library setting is preferred. A tertiary qualification in librarianship, management or a related field, plus extensive management experience is essential.
