Your Library - Chief Executive Officer
On 15 May 2025, Your Library officially reached a significant milestone. More than 1 million digital loans have now been made through the Libby platform in partnership with Boobook, a collaborative initiative between three public library services in Victoria – Your Library, Yarra Plenty Regional Library Service and Whitehorse Manningham Regional Library Corporation.
Since joining Boobook in October 2024, Your Library customers have embraced the expanded digital collection with enthusiasm.
Remarkably, close to 59% of these loans have been made on items owned by Your Library, highlighting the continued strength and relevance of our curated collection.
Chief Executive Officer, Karina Lamb, said the milestone reflects the success of the Boobook partnership in delivering high-quality, accessible digital content.
“To have reached one million loans in just over seven months is a significant achievement. Our staff have worked hard to promote Libby and ensure our collection meets the evolving needs of our community,” said Dr Lamb.
“This milestone also demonstrates the power of collaborative partnerships like Boobook, which expand access and create impact well beyond what individual services could do alone.” Dr Lamb added.

Loan data from 2025, shows continued upward momentum. For Your Library:

- Projected calendar year total: 1,025,360 – our highest digital lending year to date
